GMS Boys Basketball Tryouts for 7th and 8th grade boys will take place Monday, 10/19 through Wednesday, 10/21. 8th Grade will be from 3:30-5:30. 7th Grade will be from 5:30-7:30. Monday will be in GMS North Gym. Tuesday and Wednesday will be in GMS South Gym. A parent meeting will be held on Thursday 10/22 at 5:30 in the GMS Cafeteria. A short open practice will follow. In order to participate in tryouts, a player must be registered for the sport in Skyward and have an updated physical on file with our school nurse. You may bring a copy to tryouts. Attention 7th and 8th Grade boys interested in trying out for basketball. We will be holding open gyms on the following dates: 7th Grade: October 6th (GMS South Gym), October 13th (GMS South Gym), October 15th (GIS). 8th Grade: October 8th (GMS North Gym), October 14th (GMS South Gym), October 15th (GMS North Gym). All open gyms will be 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Open Gyms are voluntary! This is a great opportunity to get on the court, knock off the rust, and get to know your coaches prior to tryouts.
